'Leading Construction out of the Credit Crunch'

The NWSi, an organisation which supports construction health and safety in the North West of England, is pleased to announce it's 10th Seminar, to be held in Runcorn, Cheshire on 14th October 2009.

The NWSi has organised many seminars for the construction industry, which have all been suported by Industry and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Our 10th Anniversary event continues to attract this same level of support.

This years seminar is aimed at client organisations and other key stakeholders; those who influence safety within the construction sector.  The aim of the seminar is to demonstrate to attendees that, even during these difficult times, health and safety is of value to ensure affordable, safe construction work in a timely manner.

Speakers with practical experience from client, HSE and contract organisations will be taking the floor to demonstrate how good health and safety is good business, and  how this should be applied on site.  The HSE will be supporting the event from the highest level.

There will also be a number of Inspectors provided by HSE who will be available for individual confidential discussions throughout the day. 

The programme is being finalised at present and further details will be available in the very near future.

The seminar fully supports the HSE's improvement strategy.
